At K1 Solutions Training, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge and real world experience in high voltage (HV) operations. Whether you are new to the industry or an experienced professional seeking a refresher in HV electrical safety, we are here to support your journey with expert led, practical training.

Previously working as colleagues at Uniper, our team delivered HV training courses until 2022. Building on that foundation, we have established a new training facility in North Hykeham, Lincoln. Our training is delivered to the highest standards, ensuring courses are informative and engaging. Each course includes a significant practical element, allowing participants to apply their classroom knowledge in realistic, hands on environments.

Our trainers bring a combined 120 years of operational high voltage experience, gained from careers in both Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), National Grid Transmission and large-scale industrial operations. Our team has over 10 years of hands on experience managing cross boundary operations for clients connected to the transmission network, including systems up to 400kV with National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) and National Energy System Operator (NESO). We also provide support with grid code compliance for customers planning and developing new connections.

Location

Our training centre is located at Lindum Business Park in North Hykeham, near Lincoln. This facility is equipped to deliver a wide range of electrical safety training courses, featuring various types of high voltage switchgear. These resources allow delegates to gain practical, hands on experience in safe switching operations.
